How to commission me;
1. Send me an email about what you would like. You can get in touch with me through my contacts page on this website.
2. I will get in contact with you and will discuss your painting (size, colour, positioning). I will take photographs and I can also look at your photographs.
3. I start painting (with oil paints). I like to allow 2 to 3 months to complete the painting because I work part time and it allows drying time – things like that. The painting time will depend on how big my commission list is as well. I will confirm timings with you prior to starting.
4. I show you the finished piece to check you are happy and then you make the payment.
5. The price depends on the commission and the right canvas size depends on the subject of the painting. Most house paintings fit nicely into a 50 x 60cm canvas for example. Portraits fit nicely into this size too. A headshot of a pet might be best on a 40 x 40 cm canvas.
- 30 x 40 cm canvas will cost £345 (unframed)
- 40 x 40 cm canvas will cost £400 (unframed)
- 50 x 40cm, 50 x 60cm and 50 x 50cm canvas costs £500 (unframed)
- A larger canvas may be required in some cases which will cost more. I can discuss this with you.
6. The unframed commission is then ready to be delivered to you! By hand if you live relatively near or by post (post and packaging cost £25 in the UK, I will let you know overseas costs).
